Customer and Business Verification Policy

1. Purpose

Sparroz Group LTD verifies customers and businesses to protect users, prevent financial crime, meet applicable legal requirements and maintain the integrity of our services. Verification requirements may vary according to customer type, service, location, transaction profile and assessed risk.

2. Individual Customers

Individual applicants may be required to provide:

  • full legal name, date of birth and residential address
  • nationality or country of residence
  • telephone number and email address
  • occupation or principal business
  • valid government-issued identification
  • proof of address
  • photograph, selfie or liveness verification
  • tax identification information where applicable
  • purpose of the relationship and expected activity
  • source of funds and, where appropriate, source of wealth


3. Business Customers

Business applicants may be required to provide:

  • legal and trading names
  • company or registration number
  • registered and operating addresses
  • incorporation or formation documents
  • directors and authorized representatives
  • shareholders, beneficial owners and ownership structure
  • business website and contact details
  • business model, products, services and countries of operation
  • expected transaction volumes and values
  • bank-account information
  • regulatory licences or registrations where applicable
  • source of funds, financial statements, contracts, invoices or other supporting records


4. Authorized Representatives

A person acting for another customer or business may be required to demonstrate proper authority. We may verify both the representative and the person or entity on whose behalf the representative acts.


5. Politically Exposed Persons

We may determine whether a customer, beneficial owner, director, representative or related person is a politically exposed person, head of an international organization, family member or close associate. Additional review or approval may be required.


6. Source of Funds and Source of Wealth

Customers may be asked to explain and document how a transaction is funded, the origin of funds, the customer’s wider economic background and the commercial purpose of a transaction. Evidence may include bank statements, payslips, tax records, sale agreements, investment records, invoices, contracts or financial statements.


7. Ongoing Verification

Verification is not necessarily a one-time process. Updated or additional information may be requested when documents expire, ownership changes, activity changes, information appears inaccurate, legal requirements change, risk increases or periodic review is required.


8. Failure to Complete Verification

Where sufficient, accurate and current information is not provided, Sparroz Group LTD may be unable to establish or continue the relationship and may refuse an application, restrict services, delay transactions or close an account where permitted.


9. Protection of Information

Personal and corporate information obtained through verification is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, applicable law and internal information-security controls.
